Why Support Milestone Miles…

Adaptive equipment plays a critical role in helping students of all abilities learn, move, and fully participate in their school environment. Unfortunately, many of these tools are costly and not always included in school budgets.

Milestone Miles helps bridge that gap—providing schools with the resources they need to better support their students and create opportunities for success. Your support directly impacts local classrooms and ensures more students have access to the tools they need to thrive.

  • School Application Requirements

Open to all participating schools within the Williston Public School District, including elementary, middle school, high school, and Future Coyotes Pre-K.

Schools must submit a completed application by May 22, 2026.

Applications should include a prioritized list of requested adaptive equipment, ranking items from highest to lowest need. There is no limit to the number of items or total amount requested.

Requested items should support students in areas such as:

    General education classrooms

    Special education (SPED) programs

    Physical education

Schools must commit to having at least one team represented at Milestone Miles 2026.

The contact person listed on the application will be the individual we reach out to for team confirmation and communication. Please ensure this person will still be at the school.

Teams do not need to be finalized at the time of application. Final team details will be collected at a later date.

Schools may indicate interest in having more than one team, and will be contacted if space allows.

Funds will be distributed to selected schools, with the expectation that equipment is purchased and implemented within the school, and that photos of items in use are shared with The Stone Foundation.
